Vote CISPA Down!

In anticipation of a full House vote in the House on Wednesday, industry giant IBM has sent nearly 200 senior execs to Washington to lobby in support of CISPA. 

And their intentions couldn’t be more clear. CISPA would empower them to share your private data with the military without a warrant – and they wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

Chris Padilla, IBM’s VP of governmental affairs told TheHill.com that IBM and other corporations ”should be able to work directly and share information directly”  with the National Security Agency “because that’s where the expertise is.” 

We have to stop this bill from becoming law and eviscerating our hard-won civil liberties and privacy rights. Click here to urge your reps to oppose CISPA on Wednesday.

Despite an outpouring of opposition from the ACLU, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and over 100,000 Demand Progress members, the House Intelligence committee has voted to approve CISPA–a cyber-security bill that would give companies unprecedented power to share your private information with the government, including the intelligence agencies like the NSA, without a warrant.

Now the bill moves to the House for a full vote on Wednesday. We need to reiterate our opposition to this dangerous legislation loud and clear.

Tell your representatives to protect online privacy and oppose CISPA on Wednesday.

Our collective efforts stopped CISPA from becoming law last year, and we can do it again. But we must be vigilant and keep putting our representatives on notice.

Now, as before, we cannot sacrifice our hard-won liberties and privacy rights in the pursuit of a misguided and over-broad conception of “security.”

THE FLAG IS GONE–HAVE YOU NOTICED?

I noticed this just months ago and wasn’t aware that the entire White House  had been changed over to reflect another ideology. Wake up America ! THE FLAG IS GONE. Have You Noticed? For a long time, we have noticed that the decor at the White House has Changed since BHO moved in. (we just call him BO) The Oval Office is now stripped of the traditional red, white, and blue, And replaced with middle eastern wallpaper, drapes, and decor.. The hallway that he walks out of to talk to the press now has middle eastern Chairs, drapes, etc. And the thing that has bothered me the most is the bright Yellow drape behind him every time he speaks from the white house. It has Arabic symbols on it and has been there from the beginning. Today I received this and it clearly shows what I have been noticing. That bright yellow curtain is highly visible, but as you scroll down, You will see what is predominantly absent. Also, as you look at The pictures of other presidents speaking from the same spot, look At the traditional ‘American’ background and decor as opposed to The new decor. Trust me when I say that this is intentional. It should Alarm every American. What is missing at Barack Hussein Obama’s press conference? No it is not the teleprompters. See the other presidents pics for a clue. House Bill 347

Imagine an America in which the government can deny protest in any public space it deems fit. Where wearing a dissenting shirt around an elected official could be construed as a felony. Where First-Amendment protections become privileges subjectively doled out by the state. Sadly, that America is pretty much here.

In March, Congress passed HR 347, a bill that limits Americans’ ability to protest in public and on government grounds. Mainstream media didn’t raise peep, but now there’s finally some anger building. The bill, passed almost unanimously, makes it a federal offense punishable by up to ten years in prison to “knowingly” protest in the vicinity of the Secret Service–that is anywhere the Secret Service “is or will be temporarily visiting.”

It also makes many public events impervious to lawful protest. Any “National Security Special Event” (NSSE) requires Secret Service protection. NSSE-designated events have proliferated since 9/11 to include Super Bowls, concerts, campaign events, and now any public event that Very Important People want protest-free. 

Most dangerously, it criminalizes protest. Under the bill, “disorderly or disruptive conduct” or activities that “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions” could warrant felony charges. What constitutes such “disruptive conduct” rests in the eye of the beholder–or the eye of Eric Holder. To put it plainly: the government can decide where and when free speech is allowed and severely prosecute any “disruptive” activity, while we’re confined to “free speech zones.” We can help fix it, however! Idyllic Realities:::Do Not Exist. Sometimes, an event will happen and we do or can not understand it.  Sometimes this event happens to occur from a past event that we had, sometimes, many years before. I am on such an Event as i type this.  It is strange when things happen that we do not expect or did not mean for them to happen. But when this does happen, we have to ride them as if we are holding on  for dear life and see where the event will or can take us…

This is inspire…

Aside

This is inspired by The Klf “Chill Out” album from 1990!   It is a musical journey and not a race. Lots of samples used and much respect to the original artists and communicators who’s music i used to make this 80 minute mix! I hope you enjoy the mix.  It was a labor of love!

It took me about 1 month to get all the samples and sounds the way i liked them and even then, i still find stuff that i wished i had done a little different.  I use Soundforge 10 and a lot fo different DX and VST plugins.  I use no keyboards or midi controllers.

This is just how my mind works sometimes, making the jump from rock to an old 1980s or even a 1970s country song in the flow of things…
